We offer milling services across the North Queensland region. If you're building and have trees that need to come down for the house site, why not use them? We can mill timber to your specifications for a unique addition to your home.
So much great timber is wasted when people clear a house site and pile the logs up to burn or chip. If the trees really have to go, milling them into usable timber gives them a second life in your build.
Mobile milling on site is an option, though we prefer to mill logs at our warehouse in Lake Eacham. Each job is unique, but it usually works out cheaper to bring the logs to us, so you're not paying for travel and setup time in the hourly rate.

Worth knowing: do you know the history of your tree? A trunk from a fence line or a highly urbanised area is far more likely to have metal in it, which slows milling down. You wouldn't believe what we've found inside old trees; entire taps, lolly packets from the 1950s, the list goes on.
What it costs
- Milling is $150 – $190/hr ex GST, depending on which mill is required. Minimum 3 hour charge.
- Travel and setup time is counted in the hours where required.
- Log pickup and delivery to our warehouse is $140/hr ex GST.
- Multi-day jobs: we'll discuss a discounted rate with you.
